| I bought my 10 year old son a real wooden art easel for Christmas. I don't know anything about painting and am not very artistic myself, except for writing. My son is very creative and can draw very well. I want him to increase his artistic abilities. He has some acrylic, oil, and watercolor paint. How do I remove the paint from the pallet after using it? What works with getting paint out of clothes? | |

| When you're working on your watercolor paintings, do you prefer working with wet watercolors from a tube, with dried cakes of color or with watercolor pencils? Why? Have you ever created a piece with more than one type of watercolor medium?Here's my answers:I prefer working with watercolor pencils because I like controlling how wet the medium is. In some cases, I've started out with watercolor washes using diluted paint from tubes, then I've gone back and added specific details using watercolor pencils. | |

| It is undeniable that times are hard now. That is why a lot of us are finding ways to save money. And here is what I did. I have these cute red shoes that is slowly starting to peel because of constant usage. I didn't want to buy new shoes so what I did was I got my old watercolor paint, got the red color out and painted the peeled peeled area of the shoes and voila! GOOD AS NEW. You should do the same as well if you have shoes that can still be saved.Do you think this is a useful tip? Can you share other tips? | |
