| What are they of? What do they mean to you?I got my first tattoo on May 6th, 2006. I was seventeen, and it meant a lot to me to get it before I graduated high school. My tattoo is of three music notes, all getting bigger as they go up. The Hanson symbol is in the biggest one. That band has been my life for the past ten years and I felt like I had to give back for everything their music has done for me. May 6th was also declared the official Hanson Day back in 1997, which is why I chose that day to get it.I have some other tattoos in mind, too. The next one will be a butterfly with the words "ngi ne themba" ("I have hope" in Zulu) underneath it. | |

| If I learn how to play a piano, am I not too old to be a student for that, I am 37?
Is it expensive to follow the lessons? I live in an appartmentbuilding, we dont have the room neither the money for a piano, how can I practice, that is something I need to do than every day? And my last question: I love how to learn how to play the piano but I am skilled in music, dont know music terms, music notes or what so ever. It only seems nice for me to learn. And it is something that I always wanted.

| I have just reciently developed an interist. I was wondering if it just tells you what note to hit or if you can kinda tell what it sounds like when read the notes. Does that make sense? Not really sure how to put it. I am anxious to learn. | |

| Can you read piece of sonatas, partitur or partita... or what they called it... anyway, its just only music notes with many symbols of music... hmmm... and you play your musical instrument with it????For me, i can read basic piece... but i cant read and even follow the complicated piece with many symbols, such arpeggio, etc... its difficult. | |

| Recently I have been involved in our local church choir, and because of this I am now very used to seeing musical pieces. These papers contain several musical symbols, which for absolute beginners in music, are quite confusing yet somehow interesting.
Now that I have been rehearsing with a choir in more than seven months, I can say that I can now understand the basics of musical note reading, although my present knowledge, still is not that great - well maybe just enough for me to sing the hymns correctly. LOL
How about you? Can you interpret musical notes? Do you know the exact meaning of every symbol on the staff? If yes, can you 'translate' those notes into real music by means of a musical instrument? | |

| Ok so what is everybody's views on tattoos. Do you love them or hate them or couldnt care either way. I like tattoos but I am not addicted, i currently have one tattoo and it is a very meaningful tattoo to me. It is a memorial tattoo for my nephew who passed away when he was only 15. The tattoo his a heart which is blue that is my fav color, and also one of my nephews, and it has music notes in it, he loved music and was always writing his own lyrics so theres the meaning for that component of the tattoo. But My FAVORITE part of my tattoo is that is has his name in his writing the tattoo artist took the stencil from a piece of his school work which he signed his name on! ALthough I hate having to have the tattoo because i would much rather have my nephew back and no stupid tattoo, I love my tattoo because now he's with me always i can always look at my tattoo and remember him. I had my tattoo done on my lower part of my calf and it was relatively pain free so that was nice too. I love tattoos but this one is enought for me. So what about all of you guys do you have tattoos, if so are they meaningful to you and why? | |
