| Both of my kids love to play with Legos, especially my 4 year old. While we were looking through the Christmas Toy Books, he saw a set he wanted that cost $89.99-on sale! This is crazy to me!
I know he lovesthem, and spends all sorts if time playing with them(the WalMart kind), but are they serious? What makes these tiny pieces so expensive? here is NO WAY I would pay this much for a lego set.
what about you? Do you think this is way to much? Do you buy them?

| There are neverending possibilities of creation. Yes I still play with legos and I am 28 years old! My daughter, who is 7, just loves to play with them also. We put them all together to build a huge house, we see who can make the best Lego Robot. My mom saved all of my legos from when I was small and she shipped them to me in this huge tote, so I am so excited, we got them by UPS the other day and added them to my daughters collection, I cleared out one of the extra bedrooms, which is also my computer room and now the whole floor is covered! Did you play with Legos as a kid? Would you play with them now? I am going to keep buying them for her on special occasions (birthday's, Christmas) I just think they are such a great toy. My son is 7 months old so he will get to have them when he is big enough to know not to eat them..lol | |

| http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=564264&in_page_id=1770A new Lego tower standing almost 100 feet tall has set a new world record for being the tallest tower made out of legos.Children and visitors to the park helped construct it in 20 cm sections which were hoisted into place by a crane. This structure beating the old tower which was 96 feet tall, was done to commerate 50 years of legos being a favorite toy.The structure was built to resemble a viking lonboat mast, and stands at the entrance to the park at LegoLand Windsor.I can't believe legos have been around longer than I've been alive.Did you play with legos? Do you still play with legos? My kids love legos as well, and still play with them.Mooch | |

| This is the definitive website for AFOLs and for kids also. There are some fantastic lego creations. On the website is a menu of categories. For example, my favorite, is 'castle'. There are many of categories including 'star wars', 'avatar', 'trains', etc. If you played with legos when you were a youngster then you will want to visit this website. It is free to visit and I am in no way compensated for sending visitors to this website. It just a fun website and as an AFOL myself I always enjoy seeing whats new. New creations are constantly uploaded daily so it never gets old.[em]happy[/em] | |

| Let me just begin with this: There is no greater pain a man can experience than stepping on a LEGO block in bare feet at 3:00 in the morning on your way to the bathroom.
Notice I didn’t include women in that analogy, as I know y’all have the whole childbirth card up your sleeves.
LEGO blocks -- the colorful, easy-to-choke-on Scandinavian building bricks that we all have inadvertantly stepped on in the middle of the night only to be brought to our knees from the bone-crippling pain -- celebrated their 50th birthday last Monday.
I can barely contain my excitement.
The brick design was patented a half-century ago by Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, and the blocks began their glorious journey into every child's toy box and/or esophagus, including the bottoms of my bare feet at 3:00 in the morning.
Did you know that LEGO has sold about 40,000,000,000 pieces – or 62 bricks for every person on Earth? Do you know that I’ve stepped on at least sixty of them during my children’s developmental years? That’s certainly more than my alloted share I’m sure. Do you know that LEGO blocks have accounted for more than half the profane language my kids learned overhearing me cry out in pain and...

| Do you have any legos that you want to get rid of? If you do I may be interested in taking them off your hands. Please add me then message me here at mylot with how many pounds, what kinds of sets(if any) and how much you want to sell them for. Thanks! | |

| I love building thihngs with them, the more complicated the better. Recently we tackled the Star wars imperial Star Destroyer and it was a great experience for the whole family. We all had to work together and I was impressed by how patient we all were and helpful when the instructions got confusing or one of us was making a mistake or getting frustrated. n Earth? Do you know that I’ve stepped on at least sixty of them during my children’s developmental years? That’s certainly more than my alloted share I’m sure. Do you know that LEGO blocks have accounted for more than half the profane language my kids learned overhearing me cry out in pain and uttering blasphemous adjectives after the bottoms of my feet had been reduced to powder?
I remember when I turned 47 I required cortisone shots in both heels because of damage done to the bones from stepping on so many LEGO blocks. As the pediatrist ground the needles into each heel and told me “this is going to pinch a little” I remembered remarking to my then spouse how much LEGO blocks would help stimulate our children’s creative juices and we should buy out every LEGO box in stock. Thanks...

Those forty kajillion LEGOS, that's enough blocks to build a LEGO tower to the moon, and I wish somebody would, and leave them all there. Then I wouldn’t have to worry about stepping on them...
