| nowadays mothers are not confine at the house and take good care of the kids,but rather leave the house and works to uplift their livelihood,help financially their husbands.But as kids left out at home,they were indulge watching tv,playing video games,computers.others kids most likely love their nannies rather than their mom.what do you think the best approach for the kids and be a best mom? | |

| about MIT selling computers for kids. I read that MIT is selling computers buy 1 for $399 and get 2 one is for a child in an undeveloped country and the other one you can keep for yourself or donate to a child. I think this is a good thing to an extent. 1 being if the country is undeveloped then how are they going to be used? Would schools be a big part of this problem also? I know that a lot of us are thinking why would I donate a computer to a foriegn country when there is so many here that go without. Well I believe in everone having the chance to succeed but on the other hand schools play a good part in life and I think that they should first start there and then add on to the goal. I think that MIT has a great thought but needs improving. What do you think? hugs | |

| I have a 5yo and a 6yo and I am looking for a cheap laptop to get them to use I want something simple and something basic. I want them to be able to search the internet and emai and thats all it needs to be. I heard about a computer that is for kids and for elderly that is basic. Does anyone know about this and does anyone know where I can get something like this. Thank You for your time and advice. | |

| There are a lot of kids who are more knowledgeable in terms of computer knowledge than their parents. I determined to know about computer 8 years ago so that my kids will not be better than me. Kids who are good in computer is good in making assignments and research in school. But if they are not guided by parents because they don't know computers, the kids will be in trouble in many ways. So, are we better than our kids in terms of computer knowledge?[em]lol[/em] | |

| I ahve a daughter who is now 4 years old and I am comtempaleting if I should buy a basic mini computer for her to play her educational games and learn from there. | I have two computers with the same problem. Both of them are not able to run any CD or DVD. Earlier they were okay. But recently I noticed that I am not seeing my cd/ dvd icon in the my computer window and so was completely sad. I now, don't know how to get rid of it.It can be a virus. But then, I have Norton antivirus installed. Help me. I am clueless. | |

| For all the aspiring computer technologists and computer enthusiasts it will be nice and most welcome if the computers cost a little less. The cost of the computers and laptops are sometimes felt as sky high by the people who belong to the middle class income group. Therefore as the price of television has come down if the prices of computers also come down it will be good. | |
