| The longest friendship I have is of 20 years. We met whilst working in a fast food restaurant but have grown apart and closer over the years. Unfortunately we don't get to see as much of each other as we would like but we are still very good friends. If ever I should need her, she would be right there for me and I too for her. She still lives in my hometown and I make sure I call her and we get together whenever I am in her area visiting.How long is your longest friendship? How did you meet? | |

| That's what I told stepson's girlfriend. She needed a ride to the store next to my other son's school. No problem, it was time to pick him up anyway. She got what she needed at the store so we headed across the bridge to the school. She started to get out to go in the building with me (hey, since we're stuck with her now she might as well be involved with the family, right?). But that's we're i drew the ine and said she could wait in the truck...Why? Because she was wearing a very sheer white tube top type shirt over a black strappy bra and low slung pants[em]blink[/em]. I did not think that was at all appropriate to wear into an elementary school. Just because my kids have to see it at home doesn't mean the whole school does. We are trying to get her to tone it down at home as well...not with much success yet. (Unless you count skin tight leggings under the 8 inch long skirt and high heeled knee high boots as an improvement[em]rolleyes[/em])Would you/have you ever pointed out when someone is not dressed appropriately for the situation? Are you blunt or more subtle? I didn't tell her why she could stay in the truck but I made it obvious that I wanted her too...she... | |

| i was just wanting to know others opinions.where i live a kid has to take one of the languages in order to graduat.personally i think its ok ii mean it may help in the long run but i stillthink it should be up to the child and they shouldn't be forced.what about you what is your outlook on this situation. | |

| hello all of my good friend's here at Mylot.this morning school started back here and both boys are off in school this morning! whoo hoo! i have enjoyed the quiet time that i have had this morning as well. lol after a summer filled with fun activities and with all of the boy's friend's coming over and them going to spend the night with their friend's as well, i think that they were ready to go back to school this morning. my seven year old was dying to find out who that his third grade teacher was going to be this year. lol so tell me, has your children went back to school for the year yet?thanks for sharing and have a beautiful day today! | |
