Hey Gang!
My name is Dave and this is my first post to myLot.
I did a search and was amazed to see nothing coming
up for ukuleles. Are there no ukulele players out there?
Come on out. Don't be shy.
I will come out of the closet first.

| In the past I have taken basic guitar lessons. I don't have the guitar anymore and recently started playing around with Ebay. I found musical instruments on Ebay were affordable where I could not afford to get a really nice guitar at this time. What I ended up getting were a mandolin, an Hawaiian backpack guitar, and a ukulele. The ukulele has not arrived yet, but I can't wait to get it. I found great instructional lessons on YouTube for each of the instruments. Now I am waiting new strings for the mandolin because I broke two of them during tuning. The guitar is great although much different than any I have ever seen before. Once I get the ukulele I want my older grandkids to try it and the other instruments to see how well they can handle them. I believe in giving children music lessons and introducint them to as much in the music world as possible. They already love playing my electronic keyboard. If they like the ukulele, I plan on getting several ukuleles for Christmas. I found out there are at least three basic types of ukuleles for different sounds. They have soprano, tenor, and baritone ukuleles. If they like my ukulele, I will get at least one of each kind for them to... | |
