HOW DO YOU CAHRGE FOR A EBOOK
You've written and compiled an ebook. Now you have to decide how much to charge for it. Finding the right price is essential to the success of your product. If you charge too little, people will think it's of little value, and they won't purchase it, or even it they do buy your book, you will have to sell thousands of copies to get to the point where you can begin to see a profit. If you price it too high when compared with your competition, you will find yourself steadily lowering the price, which will cause you all kinds of new problems in the future. For example, if you sell your ebook at first for $39.99, and later reduce it to $24.95, don't you think the people who bought it for $39.99 are going to be PISSED?Choosing the right price for your ebook is one of the most critical parts of the marketing process. The first rule of pricing ebooks is to never underprice. Determine the highest price your audience can afford, and then if you find your book isn?t selling, you can always reduce the price. Before you take that step, make sure you are promoting your book like crazy on the Internet and on websites. The price should be aimed at bringing in profits,...

Iron maiden the origin
Well the name Iron maiden has a medieval origin meaning a iron housing that can accommodate an adult within it .It was a medieval torture device cast from iron to resemble a maiden and had movable nails to inflict torture and pain to the person housed within it .Though the name was conceived by the bassist from the band steve harris after seeing the movie "Man in the iron mask ".The band debuted the with the initial album titled "Iron maiden " in 1980 and the legacy continues till date to "a matter of life and death "released in 2006. Some of my personal favorites include "die with your boots on ", "the trooper ", "aces high ", "powerslave", "the rime of the ancient mariner ", "a brave new world"
Anyone got any suggestions for a good read?
Well, I created a thread like this a couple months back and got a good response and had lots of reads.Well, I'm into books that are about war, things like 1984 and Brave New World, action books and a few others things. I'm not really into phantasy that much though. Please, I need to start reading again xD
Artificial beach
Step by step we create HEAVEN!!!Sun, sand and surf were everyone's prescription for holiday paradise, but, in the south of Japan, they leave nothing to Mother Nature.Inside a huge dome that could house six football pitches, the world’s largest artificial sea washes over the biggest indoor beach, fringed with fake palm trees and other eye-popping innovations that have given a holiday make-over to old Mother Nature. This evocative 21st Century resort shows that even paradise has room for improvement. In Ocean Dome, once every hour, on the hour, the surf is always up. Every afternoon is a carnival. Mechanized parrots squawk from branches of the dome’s ingenious rain forest, which remain lush and tropical without rainfall or humidity. Best of all, in Ocean Dome, you can lull for hours on crushed marble pebbles without a worry about beach vendors, bugs or sun burns.Instead, perfectly-timed waves whip equally well-groomed surfers along in 28-degree, chlorinated, salt-free water to the sanitized shore where they drip-dry in Ocean Dome’s perfect climate, which remains a delightful 30 degrees, day and night, 365.25 days each year.Perhaps the best designed beach on the...
What is the best book that you ever read...and why?
There are so many great books, and I often find out about new ones online. Where do you find out about great books? And what do you consider your favorite book. For real readers, I realize that this is a difficult question because there are so many great books out there. One of my favorites is a book called "The Coast of Chicago" by Stuart Dybeck. It's a collection of short stories about growing up in Chicago and if you've ever lived there, you will have a great time experiencing the place along with the characters. I also like books by Amy Tan, especially "Joy Luck Club" and I love the fact that she names characters in the novel after actual streets in San Francisco (Waverly being one of them). What great books should I read? What do you like?
Recurrent themes in their songs (Iron Maiden fans only)
Iron maiden have often incorporated ideas from other (famous) works in literature, history and sometimes music. for example: the rhyme pf the ancient mariner (from the classic poem by colridge ) caught somewhere in time (the movie "somewhere in time" and a line in the song(time is always on my side) "borrowed" from the RollingStones ) seventh son of a seventh son (novel) brave new world(novel, movie) the trooper (from an account of the charge of the light brigade) alexander the great (history) genghis khan (history) to tame a land (originally called "dune" after the famous scifi series by herbert) no more tears (shared a name with a very famous Ozie Osbourne song) Quest for fire (from the name of a documentary/fiction movie about prehistoric people) etc etc etc the list goes on . what is your opinion on this? # good an artistic review of these works and events from a "METAL" view, bringing some aspects of the culture in these works to METAL fans . # bad they actually milk the sucess of movies, books, songs by others and appropriate the success after adding some electric riffs!(indeed there have been some plagiarism claims and/or suits )so which is it?
I am a "street sociologist" of sorts and I wonder....
Does anyone other than me notice that the world governments and educational systems are seemingly aimed towards making the populace more tractable and less militant by assimilating everyone into stupid mindless drones who cant add (72+45)x(9x12)/9-45 without a calculator. It seems that the days when an instructor would pose a mathematical equation and little hands would fly to find notebook paper and a No. 2 pencil to cipher out what the sum was! In fact my 17 year old daughter is now taking geometry and one of the "required" school supplies for this class is a calculator. In fact the list of stuff that we needed to procure was long and never once refered to college ruled notebook paper and/or any writing utensil save for a barring of the usage of erasable pens. More people these days work on their a$$es pushing keys all day than the much lower number of craftsmen who still work with their hands. The farms that are privately owned and family run are being squeezed out of existence of at best to the brink of their own citification and button pushing futures, by super-ranches that are full of machines and company policies and corners that can legally be cut that shouldn't be in...
